Hotel El Encanto - Cahuita

This place is a hidden gem! The beautiful gardens were a highlight of my trip, and we enjoyed spotting wildlife like sloths and lizards right outside our room. The beach is just a short stroll away, and the lively town with its shops and eateries is also within easy walking distance. Breakfast was a daily treat with fresh fruit, homemade bread, and various options, though having the eggs served alongside everything else would improve the experience. It was a perfect place for our little family getaway while exploring the nearby Cahuita National Park.

The tropical gardens were filled with wildlife and the pool was such a refreshing escape. Our room was cozy and the breakfast was delicious.

Really enjoyed Cahuita, the hotel was nice close to everything. The staff were lovely, welcoming services. Spent here 2 great days and will choose the place for future trips.

Location: the hotel was very close to a secluded garden with two lovely pools and still an easy walk to town, national park and beaches as well as the nice beach. It also was to ocean.

Also, the location is unbeatable and incredible, minutes from Cahuita National Park. Easy access to restaurants and bars which are within walking distance of the hotel.

It was just a perfect match for a brief retreat in Cahuita with decent value for money. Enjoyed the refreshing pool area, a great spot to unwind after exploring the nearby park. Bring snacks, as the on-site restaurant prices are a bit steep.

Cottages were perfect with beautiful grounds and refreshing pools. Customer service lacked during breakfast with limited vegan options.

I loved the gorgeous gardens and wildlife around! The breakfast was a delicious spread of homemade bread and fresh fruit, with a rotating selection of main dishes. Our suite was spacious, perfect for our family of four, and we enjoyed spotting sloths and toucans nearby. The staff were really nice for our anniversary, and the pools were a great way to unwind.

Spent 4 nights in a Double or Twin Room at El Encanto. The gardens are fine, with vibrant tropical plants and plenty of wildlife. I spotted sloths relaxing in the trees, made my morning. The pool temperature was perfect for a refreshing dip. Breakfast featured fresh fruit, homemade bread, and a rotating choice of eggs or pancakes. The limited options for vegan offerings at breakfast left me wanting more variety. The staff provided really good service. The only downside was occasional noise from the kitchen above my room, but it didn't disturb my sleep too much.

My wife says that breakfast could use a bit more variety.

El Encanto is a tropical paradise! The gardens are immaculate, filled with vibrant flora and abundant wildlife, including friendly sloths. The private terrace of our Superior Bungalow provided a perfect spot to soak in the beauty. Breakfast was a good spread of fresh fruit, homemade bread, and varied main options like pancakes or eggs, all served with unlimited coffee!

Staying here was a good surprise! The beautifully landscaped grounds were teeming with wildlife like sloths and iguanas. We enjoyed peaceful evenings in the pool and a fantastic happy hour with two-for-one large drinks. The friendly staff were great. A true hidden gem!

The wildlife sightings were very nice, with sloths lounging in the trees and vibrant birds singing all around. The pool area offered a refreshing escape, awesome for relaxation and recreation in a serene setting. I appreciated the garden view from my room, made mornings even more good.
